About Us

South Bucks Karate Club has been operating in the High Wycombe area for nearly 40 years. Originally based at Sands before moving to Prestwood in the late 80's and Bisham Abbey in the mid 90s then Borlase School in 2008.

In June 2009 we moved From Marlow Borlase School to our next training hall at St Piran's Center, Maidenhead. In July 2014 we moved to our current location at Newlands Girls School.

After the Covid-19 year, we have resuned training only at our Prestwood base. Maidenhead students are of course welcome to join us at Prestwood.

We like to think of ourselves as a friendly club that support its students. To this end we have annual outings to Laser Quest, UKASKO competitions, and other social events throughout the year.

Especially important is the welfare of the Junior students, and to this end we run Stranger Danger classes, Bullying sessions, Merit Badge evenings, and charity events.

Friday - at Prestwood Village Hall

Juniors and Seniors train on Friday evenings. Juniors 6:30 to 8pm. Seniors 8pm to 10pm.
